1.What is an eStatement and how do I sign up?
An eStatement is the electronic delivery of your statement, replacing the statement that is currently provided to you via the U.S. Mail. In addition, you will receive eNotices which are notices that you normally receive in the mail for the various account types that you own such as overdraft notices, rate change notices, loan past due notices, etc.

To begin retrieving your statements online, just log on to Colony Bank Online Banking and sign up. Or visit your nearest Colony Bank branch. (If you are not currently banking online or have additional questions, call the Online Banking Center at 800-873-6404 and we will get you started). You must be the the primary owner on the account to electronically enroll for eStatements/eNotices. Additional owners may contact their local Colony bank for enrollment. For a list of the branches and phone numbers click here.

If you currently have an additional account statement mailed to a separate address and wish to continue this process, you should continue to receive paper statements and decline all eStatement services. We are currently unable to accomadate this electronically.

2. What are the benefits to receiving an eStatement/eNotice?
It’s free!  There is no charge for this convenient, time-saving, eco-friendly service.
Immediate access to checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and loans notices for the respective types of accounts. for which you choose to receive eStatements.
Ability to print and/or save to your computer or disk.
Access up to 13 months of statement history.
Added security - with eStatements you avoid mail fraud and mail theft.
Ability to view statements at your convenience.
You receive your statement on the day it is rendered, no waiting for the mail to arrive.

3. Do I have to be a Colony Bank Online Banking customer to receive eStatements?
Yes, if you are not a current Online Banking customer, please call us at 800-873-6404 or visit your local branch to get you started.

4. What is the cost to receive an eStatement?
The service is FREE to Colony Bank Online Banking customers.

5. Will my eStatement/eNotice look the same as the statement/notice I receive in the mail?
Yes, and it will include all of the same information.

6. What are the minimum system requirements for my PC?
To receive electronic delivery services, you must have Internet Explorer 6 or greater and Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 or greater. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can download a free copy at Adobe.

7. How will I be notified that my eStatement/eNotice is ready to be viewed?
We will send you a notification by email. Please make sure that we have your correct email address, as the primary account holder will be used in all cases.

8. Will joint account holders be able to view the eStatement?
Yes, as long as they have access to log on to Online Banking. You do not have to receive email notifications to view statements in Online Banking.

9. Is my eStatement secure?
Yes. Security of your information is a priority. Your eStatement is only accessible by logging onto Colony Bank Online Banking. All Online Banking sessions use 128-bit encryption.

10. Must I receive the email that notifies me that my statement is ready to be viewed?
Yes. The email is sent for your security and protection.

11. If I close my account, will my last statement come electronically if I am signed up to receive eStatement?
No, your final statement will be sent to you via U.S. mail. You will no longer be able to access your account or any statements online.

12. Can I print and/or save my statements?
Yes, you can print and save your statements. Please use safe computing practices while storing anything on your PC or removable media. Colony Bank will not be responsible or liable for the loss or theft of any files that you choose to save or store on a PC or removable media.

13. Can I view check images within my eStatement?
Yes. Your statements and imaged transactions are available.

14. How far back can I view my Statements?
You can view up to 13 months of past statements, as long as your account is open.

15. Will I continue to receive my monthly statement and or notices in the mail?
No. Once you are signed up for eStatements, you will no longer receive a paper statement or notice in the mail.

16. What if I change my mind and do not want eStatements?
You can cancel your eStatement at any time by contacting your local Colony Bank branch. A paper statement will be sent to you via U.S. mail. For a list of the branches and phone numbers click here.

17. How will I receive Notices for my accounts?
You will receive an email for eNotices just like eStatements. Your notification email will inform you exactly where to click in order to view any Notices for your accounts.

18. How long will Notices be available for viewing?
Notices will display in Online Banking for 60 days.

19. Why can I not select the "Accept" button?
The "Accept" button is not activated until you select the "terms and conditions" link and check the box to the left of the link to agree. After you have agreed to the terms and conditions, the "Accept" button will be available to select.

20. What if my email address changes?
You are responsible for notifying us of any email address change.  Please contact your local branch to notify us of a change in your email address. For a list of the branches and phone numbers click here.

21. Will my eStatement/eNotice be available on Colony Bank Online Banking if I do not receive my e-mail notification? 
Yes, your eStatement/eNotice and email notification are independent of one another.  If you do not receive your email notification, your eStatement will still be available on Colony Bank's Online Banking for you to access.  If you do not receive your email notification you will need to (a) verify that your email address is correct, (b) make sure that you have Colony Bank added to your trusted sender’s list, or (c) contact us for further assistance. For a list of the branches and phone numbers click here.

22. Can I have my eStatement/eNotice emailed to me instead?
No, your eStatement/eNotice cannot be emailed to you.  Email is not a secure way to send your statement/notice.

23. Can I have my eStatement/eNotice email notification sent to more than one email address? 
No, notification can only be sent  to one email address.

24. Will my year-end tax reporting documents also be electronic?
No, year-end tax reporting documents will be mailed via the U.S. Postal Service as normal. eStatements will not change or affect year-end tax reporting documents at all.

Colony Bank will never contact you and ask for you to provide your online banking credentials. debit card number, PIN, or any information printed on your debit card.
